This 12-Year Old’s Bravery Will Inspire You

Wendy McMahan has been a foster parent of all ages. She has shared about God’s heart for foster care for 20 years, from working in child welfare to international missions. Wendy is currently the President of For The Children, an organization that works to mobilize the local church to create life-changing moments for children who have experienced relational trauma.

When a sibling group of 5 suddenly entered foster care, it was nearly impossible to find a home for all of them. Then, the oldest sibling sacrificially offered to walk away from everything he’s known so his siblings didn’t have to.
