Carly Souza

Carly Souza was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, and has a passion to see her city come to Christ. Carly and her husband, John, have 9 children ages 14-28, most of whom joined their family through the foster care system.

Carly worked in management and new hire training at a Fortune 100 company for 7 years before embarking on the exciting adventure of being a stay-at-home mom. While killing the mom game (said very sarcastically), Carly felt a desperate need to connect with other foster parents and started a support group in her home, which would later officially become Fostering Hope, a support network for more than 800 foster, adoptive, and kinship families. After 18+ years, deeply entrenched in the foster care space, Carly is more desperate than ever for Jesus and for other families to know they aren’t alone in the struggle that comes with raising kids from hard places.
